Discover gamelan by making music together. Guided by Giri Kedaton’s artists, your group explores listening, rhythm and coordination while playing the instruments as an ensemble.
The workshop is led by a Balinese instructor with one or two assistants. It can be adapted for a school group, team-building activity or community group.
We can bring the instruments to your venue or, in some cases, arrange to host your group at the Université de Montréal Faculty of Music. These options involve different costs, to be discussed according to your project.

Technical rider
Typical duration: 90 minutes. Other durations can be discussed with the ensemble according to your project.
Teaching team: one Balinese instructor and one or two assistants.
Venue: we can bring the instruments to your premises or, in some cases, arrange a visit to the Université de Montréal Faculty of Music, by agreement with the team. Associated costs vary according to the chosen option.
Group capacity, instrument selection, space requirements and setup arrangements are to be agreed with the ensemble. Contact us to discuss hosting conditions and obtain a proposal suited to your group.
