Join the ensemble
Giri Kedaton welcomes members of all backgrounds and ages, brought together by music, dance and a passion for Balinese arts. Joining means taking part in this collective life and committing to regular artistic work.

Rehearsals
Two rehearsals a week, on Monday and Wednesday evenings, lasting three hours each.
Member commitment
Our atmosphere is welcoming and family-like, and we take our work seriously. Members are expected to attend regularly, arrive on time and practise independently when the repertoire requires it.
Joining requirements
No prior experience is required, though a sense of rhythm is helpful. There is no audition: a trial period lets both the applicant and the ensemble see whether working together is a good fit.
Membership is free: what we ask for is a commitment of time and active participation in the life of the ensemble.
